March 20, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 25th day of March, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Approve and pay current payroll.
3. Public comments on Agenda item.
4. Approve the Bond for Rowdy Green, Constable Pct 4.
5. To discuss and possibly approve a donation of that certain 1.0-acre tract out of the W. R. Childress Survey, A-878, Shelby County, Texas, belonging to Shelby County, Texas, to the City of Joaquin for the purpose of use in connection with their water supply system, including but not limited to, the drilling of a well, establishment of a water treatment plant and related use.
6. Discuss and possibly approve a renewal contract between Shelby County and Darin Borders for the purchase of pugmill sand.
7. Discuss and possibly approve the renewal agreement for the Garza County Agriculture, Grazing and Hunting Lease between Shelby County, Lessor and Miles Underwood, Lessee.
8. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
