March 27, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Special Meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 1st day of April, 2026 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Ratify the Burn Ban.
4. Discuss and possibly approve a Proclamation declaring April as Vocational Education Month in Shelby County.
5. Discuss and possibly approve a Proclamation declaring April as Child Abuse Awareness Month in Shelby County.
6. Discuss and possibly Adopt the Resolution in Support of the Application for The Texas Historical Commission Courthouse Grant for Project Planning and Full Restoration Grants.
7. Record the notification of acceptance report for the closeout of Shelby Co’s LATCF grant award.
8. Discuss and possibly take action to disburse the Child Safety Fee Fund.
9. Discuss and possibly approve funding, at the amount of $6161.88, for the Sheriff’s Office historical data migration between Spillman (Motorola) Records Management System and the Current Kologik Records Management System.
10. Discuss and possibly approve the submission of a new grant/reimbursement request, for FY-27, to the Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority.
11. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
