April 6, 2026 - The wait is over! The 15th Annual Shelby County Go Texan Spring Fling scholarship fundraising event is Saturday, May 2, 2026 with doors opening at 5:30pm, banquet starting at 6pm at the John D. Windham Civic Center, 146 Express Blvd, Center, TX 75935. This year the Friends of Shelby County Go Texan presents a 'Fajitas & Margaritas' themed night. Enjoy an open bar, music, games, raffle items, as well as the live and silent auction!
A main event of the evening is the 100 GUN RAFFLE! Tickets are $20 each or 6 tickets for $100. Gun Raffle Tickets are available at the following businesses: Shelby Savings Bank, Shoop Financial, State Farm Chris Mayfield, McAdams Propane, Bob’s Pawn & Gun, General Shelters, Mathews Real Estate, Masterson Insurance Agency, Steel Building Supply, Ray Jones Chevrolet, and Automotive Collision Specialist.
Admission to the Spring Fling event is $30 per person or Sponsor a Table $750. All Guest Must Be 21 Years +. Tables are limited! Table sponsor benefits include: 8 guests per table, (6) 100 Gun Raffle Tickets valued at $100, raffle tickets worth $100, and 1 chance to win a Special Sponsor Gun. Proceeds go to Shelby County Youth Scholarships. Since the beginning of Shelby County Go Texas, more than $1 Million has been awarded to Shelby County youth in scholarships!
