April 24, 2026 - Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the Governing body of the Shelby County Commissioners’ Court will be held on the 29th day of April, 2026 at 9:30am in the Courtroom of the Shelby County Courthouse at 200 San Augustine Street, Center, Shelby County, Texas to deliberate and consider action on the following items:
1. Approve and pay weekly expenses.
2. Public comments on Agenda item.
3. Discuss and possibly approve Pct. 4 Commissioner to solicit quotes from Buy Board for an excavator.
4. Discuss and possibly approve the purchase of two (2) heated food delivery carts for inmate meals to be purchased from Commissary Funds.
5. Discuss and possibly approve the purchase of materials to construct a restroom/eye wash facility in the existing mechanic shop at the Sheriff’s Office. Materials would be purchased from Commissary Funds.
6. Commissioners’ Court Reports: These are for informational purposes only. Any action that needs to be taken on the basis of these reports will be placed on a future agenda for action.
