May 21, 2026 - Tenaha High School introduces the graduating class of 2026. Commencement ceremonies and scholarship presentations will take place on Friday, May 22nd at 7pm in the Tenaha ISD Special Events Center.
The Tenaha HS Class of 2026 Valedictorian is Julissa Rico. Her activities in high school have been: Soccer, Tennis, Beta Club, and Junior Chamber of Commerce. He distinctions have been A Honor Roll and A/B Honor Roll. She plans to attend an accredited four-year university to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and become a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse.
The Class of 2026 Salutatorian is Jennifer Gonzalez Flores. Her high school activities have been: National Beta Club (4 years), Junior Chamber of Commerce (2 years), CNA/PCT Training, Dual Credit Courses, Band, Color Guard, and Soccer. She believes that one of her greatest accomplishments throughout high school was her commitment to working hard and growing academically. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in diagnostic medical sonography. Her goal is to build a meaningful healthcare career that helps patients feel supported and understood, particularly those who face language barriers.
