June 26, 2026 - Five Shelby County students at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, achieved President's Honor Roll and / or Dean's List of Academic Honors for the Spring 2026 Semester.
The students who achieved President's Honor Roll are Brandi Arnold, Jayden Bass, and Lani Kendrick from Joaquin. They are undergraduates who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours.
The students who achieved Dean's List are Derrionna Duncan from Center; Brandi Arnold, Jayden Bass, and Lani Kendrick from Joaquin; and Adam Lindgren from Timpson. They are undergraduates who have achieved a grade point average of at least 3.5 out of a perfect 4.0 in all work attempted while enrolled in not less than 12 semester hours.
