Mrs. Charllette Renae Gibbs Jackson “Renae,” 61, of Center passed away on July 19, 2026.
Visitation will be held on Saturday July 25, 2026, 10:30am -1:00 pm at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church, 623 Martin Luther King Dr., Center, Texas 75935 Pastor Anthony Jackson. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery in Center.
Mrs. Charllette Renae Gibbs Jackson was born to Mr. Ray Gibbs and Ms. Essie Mae Randle in Center, Texas on January 19, 1965. She grew up to be an athlete, playing sports such as basketball, track, and softball. She even went to state for shot put. Not to mention, in 1983, Renae was in the top 10 of her graduating class. Afterwards, she attended Stephen F. Austin State University and eventually landed employment at Frito Lay in Irving, Texas as a crewing coordinator, which was in the field of the very job she went to college for. Before creating a new life in the Dallas area, she married her loving husband, Patrick Jackson.
Renae was stylish, helpful, had a great heart, was trustworthy, loving, thoughtful, discerning, had a bright personality, was punctual, organized, responsible, Very clean, and loved to travel, especially by cruise. She loved bringing people together to have fun and fellowship. The expression “she will be greatly missed” is a severe understatement.
Renae departed this life Sunday night in ICU at Baylor University Medical Center on July 19th in Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Charllette Jackson was preceded in death by her father: Ray Gibbs, her mother: Essie Gibbs, her brother: Dana Randle, her grandparents: Eula Mae Randle and Jeff Ree Randle, and a dear cousin who felt more like a brother: Quinard Cartwright.
