August 27, 2026 - All five Shelby County schools start their regular football season this week. Junior high, junior varsity teams and Tenaha varsity will begin play tonight. All other varsity games will start on Friday.
The Center Roughriders varsity will start the year hosting the Van Vandals, Friday, August 28 for a 7:30pm kickoff at Roughrider Stadium. Tailgate will begin at 5:30pm.
The Joaquin Rams varsity team will travel to Beckville for an away game Friday against the Bearcats. Kickoff is at R.C. Beauchamp Stadium at 7pm.
The Shelbyville Dragons varsity team will travel to Gladewater Friday for an away game against the Sabine Cardinals. Kickoff is at James Bamberg Stadium at 7pm.
The Tenaha Tigers varsity will travel to Ore City for an away game against the Rebels. Kickoff is at 7pm on Thursday, August 27.
The Timpson Bears varsity will have a 7pm Kickoff at West Sabine’s Tigers Stadium on Friday, August 28.
