The funds were used to purchase a greenhouse and hydroponic growing systems for Center High School’s horticulture program. This equipment will provide students with valuable hands-on learning and practical experience in horticulture, plant production, greenhouse operations, and modern hydroponic growing methods.

The Center Noon Lions Club extends a special thank-you to Spartan Structures and Brady and Brent Scarber for their cooperation and assistance in building the greenhouse. Their willingness to work with the project and support this effort helped make this new educational resource possible for the students of Center High School.

Projects such as this demonstrate what can be accomplished when local schools, civic organizations, businesses, and community members work together to invest in young people. Hands-on career and technical education introduces students to career opportunities, develops practical skills, and better prepares them for success after graduation.

CHS Principal Heath Hagler stated, “We are deeply grateful for the generosity of the Center Noon Lions Club and its commitment to expanding career and technical education opportunities for our students. This investment will help our students develop the knowledge and skills needed to pursue future opportunities and meet the demands of an evolving economy.”

On behalf of the Center Noon Lions Club, we thank everyone who participates in and supports our fundraising efforts. Your support makes projects such as this possible and allows the Lions Club to continue investing in the youth and future of our community.
