September 7, 2026 — Drive it, ride it, or haul it. If it has wheels and a motor, get it to the Shelby County Cruisers Car and Cycle “Show and Shine” in Center on Saturday, October 3.
The tradition of hosting a car show during the East Texas Poultry Festival began in 1983. Missing only a few festivals over the last four decades, that tradition continues this year with a celebration of classic road iron and retro rollers.
Registration opens at 8am in the HOPE Community Medicine parking lot at 304 Logansport Street. The awards ceremony begins at 1pm, where 35 trophies and an array of prizes will be handed out. There is no entry fee to show a vehicle or to attend as a spectator.
The show will feature expanded classes for cars and trucks with vehicles divided into four categories by model year, one class for motorcycles, and first- through third-place trophies awarded in all divisions. A brand-new category this year will highlight non-street-legal race cars.
Another new feature will the “Sponsor’s Choice” trophies, allowing event sponsors to select and award their favorite entries. Spectators and participants will together vote for the "People’s Choice" awards, while winners in all other classes will be decided strictly by participant voting.
