William Ben Ingerton, 53, of Center, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026, in Center.
Visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm, Monday, September 14, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 10am, Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Bro. Danny Dodson officiating.
Born June 2, 1973, William is the son of Rhodes Ingerton and Wanda Englehart Ingerton. At a young age, William was in an accident and had to use crutches. He found going up and down stairs difficult. Bro. Horn showed him how to use one of his crutches as a slide. During this time in his life, he started asking Bro. Horn a lot of questions and they had a lot of talks. At this time, William asked God to make him His child.
