Alpha Omega “Mickie” Myers, 90 of Joaquin, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 2pm, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Old Home Baptist Church in Joaquin with Bro. Hollis Bass officiating. Interment will follow at Old Home Cemetery in Joaquin.

Born August 15, 1935, Mickie is the daughter of Willis Jason Booker and Tiny Ethel Magness Booker. She was a devoted Christian woman and a lifelong faithful member of Old Home Baptist Church. Her life reflected faith, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her. Mickie was the heart of her family and found her greatest joy in being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was always filled with laughter, prayer, and the comforting knowledge that everyone who entered was deeply loved. She taught her family the importance of faith in God, forgiveness, and compassion, living each day as an example of Christ’s love. Mickie was known for her gentle spirit, her warm smile, and her servant’s heart. Whether through prayer, words of encouragement, or simply being present, she touched countless lives. Her faith guided her through every season of life, and she trusted God in both joy and hardship. She cherished family gatherings, church fellowship, and quiet moments spent reading her Bible and praying for those she loved. Her legacy of faith and devotion will continue through the generations she leaves behind.

Preceded in death by her husband, Huey P. Myers; son-in-law, Billie R. Warren; and siblings, Houston Booker, Willie B. Ward, Boone Booker, J.F. Booker, Sybele Lum, Evelyn Hensley, Louise Rasco, James Booker, and Edgar Booker.

Pallbearers will be Marty Warren, Bryan Fairchild, Cole Smith, Gage Stivers, Josh Fletcher, and Wyatt Fletcher. Honorary pallbearer will be Alvin “Bubba” Lum.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Old Home Baptist Church.
