Betty Jane "Jannie" Dock Gardners, 64, departed this life Sunday morning at St. Luke's Baylor's ICU on June the fourteenth in Houston, Texas. She was born May 21, 1962 to Mr. Kirksy and Mrs. Emma Dock Johnson. Mrs. Betty join Triumph First Pentecostal Church at an early age, and love to attend her church until her health failed her.
Funeral service is at 11am on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at Triumph First Pentecostal Church, 222 CR 2024, Shelbyville, Texas with Bishop Roosevelt Swindle, officiating and serving as eulogist. Visitation is from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
She worked at E. L. Bruce's Hardwood floor in Center, Texas for years, and when they sold out she went Tyson Food in Center, Texas for ten years until her health has failed her to end. Jannie played basketball for Shelbyville High School with her sister, Brenda and Ether Moore.
Betty Dock Gardners was preceded in death by her father, Kirksey Dock; sister, Christene Dock Garrett; three brothers, Curtis Charles Dock, James Douglas Dock, and Kirksey Dock Jr.; and grandparents, Mary Erise Handy Pitts and Cora Lee Morris.
