Debrah Ann Cartwright, 65, departed this life on Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was born on July 4, 1960 to the late Alfreddie and Bertha (Beatrice) Cartwright in Shelbyville, Texas.
A home going service is at 2pm on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Bennett Chapel Baptist Church, 674 CR 2582, Shelbyville, Texas with Bishop W.C. Martin, Pastor, and Pastor Winston Kibbles, officiating. Visitation is from 10am until 6pm on Friday, June 19, 2026 at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
She is preceded in death by her father, Alfreddie Cartwright; mother, Beatrice Cartwright; and two brothers, George Henry and Curtis Henry.
Debrah attended Strong School System until it was later converted into Shelbyville ISD where she graduated in the class of 1978. She worked at Tyson Food for 32 years. She attended Panola College where she earned her certified Nurse Aid. She was a hard worker with many jobs, she work as a substitute teacher until she retired.
