Johnathan graduated from Tenaha High School and later received his Bachelor of Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. When he wasn’t busy with farm work, he loved hunting, riding ATVs, and gaming. Most of all, he loved helping his dad maintain and operate the farm equipment. He was talented enough to take anything apart and rebuild it or weld it back together. Later, when his health declined, he found joy in grilling, tinkering with electronics and computers, creating and managing fish aquariums, and engineering pieces with his 3D printer.
Johnathan will be remembered for his compassion for his family and friends and his willingness to help anyone who needed him. He was a member of Old Home Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Nathan Wells, Nathan Martinez, Billy Joe Watson, Jose Sandoval, Hunner Chaffin, and Trenton Hass.
