Johnny Mike Martin
It is with deep sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of my father, Johnny Michael Martin, who passed away on June 30, 2026 at the age of 74 in Lufkin, Texas.
A memorial will be held on Sunday July 12th, 2026 at 2pm at Denman Avenue Baptist Church in Lufkin.
Born on October 25th, 1951 Johnny Mike lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to family and friends. Throughout his life, he was known for his compassion, generosity, affection, and being a tireless worker that made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He served our country through his military service as a Marine and in law enforcement for over 40 years where he was respected for dedication to protect and serve our communities. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved wife Beverly as well as his family and friends and of course spending countless hours on his garden even when he could barely catch his breath.
Above all, Johnny Mike cherished his family.

He was preceded in death by his brother Charles W. “Scooter” Martin, sister Susie Martin Wright and parents, Woodrow (Dutch) Martin and Edith Christian Martin.
His memory will live on through the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
