Wailen Larry Mott, 71, of Center, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2026, in Center. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Chris Collins officiating.
Born June 24, 1954, in Center, Wailen is the son of Waline Mott and Verna (Honey) Mott. Wailen was a skilled carpenter and painter. He had an unquenchable thirst for the Word of God, focusing on the coming Kingdom. He spoke about it to all who would listen. He also loved riding motorcycles, as anyone who knew him would know quickly. He also loved his family dearly, sharing his life with children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Waline Mott and Verna (Honey) Mott; sisters, Dreama Mott and Kayla Mott; and grandson, Drayden Hicks.
