Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2017, and from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Janis Fausett, 60, of Marshall formerly of Joaquin, Shelby County, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Hospice of East Texas in Tyler.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Frankie Desoto and Chuck Nunn officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at noon at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born June 6, 1956 in Shelby County, Texas to James Harper and Neva (Buckner) Harper. She graduated from Joaquin High School in 1974. She was the supervisor for EZ Mart for 23 years.

Maurice Eaves, 90, of Tenaha, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017, in Center.

Mrs. Eaves was born August 16, 1926, in Center, to Lee Ballard and Lera Ellis Ballard. She graduated from Tenaha High School in 1943. Mrs. Eaves married Floyd Eaves on July 19, 1943. She worked for Center Fixtures, now Hallmark, in Center, for 23 years. Her hobbies included fishing, gardening and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, Reading Club from 1989 to present, where she served as the president from 1995 to 1997. She was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Center where she was the youth director and she was also a member of the United Methodist Women.

Wyman Richard Rohde, 94, Logansport, passed away January 26, 2017 in Mansfield, Louisiana.
Graveside services honoring the life of Wyman Richard Rohde will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Cool Springs Cemetery in Logansport, LA with Rev. Dean Register and Bro. J.C. Lewis officiating. Family will receive friends at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Logansport, LA, on Sunday, January 29, 2017, at 1:00 P.M. till 2:30 P.M.
Richard was born on October 13, 1922 to Louis and Barbara H. Rohde in Shreveport, LA and entered into rest on January 26, 2017 in Mansfield, LA. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle that enjoyed family and friends.
Wyman “Richard” Rohde was a member of Mims Springs Baptist Church since the age of 14. He was a proud graduate of the Class of 1941 from Logansport High School. Lifelong resident of Logansport, LA. Even though poor eyesight and blindness was always a challenge; it was never a defeat for him. In his younger years he enjoyed making memories that would later become stories to be told to whoever had time to be educated. Richard grew up in a time when classmates and neighbors were part of the family. Although he outlived many he very rarely forgot a name or voice.
He always enjoyed working with his hands from raising chickens, to gardening and carpentry work and mowing the yard. He loved to read and explore the world through books; sitting on the porch swing was one of his favorite things to do. Independence was one thing that he cherished and never gave up on!
Preceding Richard in death were his parents Louis and Barbara H. Rohde; sister, Betty Jane Rohde Savage and nephew, Jacky L. Dickerson.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are nephew James R. Savage and wife Linda, nieces Jere Guillotte and husband Jim, Teresa Dickerson; great nephews and nieces, Jennifer Wheless and husband JC, Julie David and husband Chance, Robert Guillotte, Sam Savage, Gregg Savage and wife Angel, Josh Savage; six great great nephews and nieces; and a host of cousins and friends.

Dorothy Mae Hollis Boyd, age 90, of San Augustine, Texas passed away on Friday, January 20, 2017 at her home in San Augustine, Texas.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Roberts Baptist Church. Interment in Roberts Cemetery with Rev. Ardis Mosby officiating.
