Oliver Announces Resignation as District Clerk of Shelby County

July 31, 2025 - I announce my resignation from the District Clerk’s Office effective August 1, 2025. For a little over twenty years now, it has been my privilege to have served you, the people of Shelby County and the many visitors who came into your District Clerk’s Office.

I have made life long friends and met a multitude of colorful people that I will never forget! There are those that may say that I too, have become one of those colorful people. And, they may be right!

Jury Cancellation for 123rd Judicial District Court

November 14, 2024 - The jury that has been summoned for Monday, November 18, 2024 for the 123rd District Court Honorable LeAnn K. Rafferty, Judge presiding has been cancelled. All cases have been passed or settled.

Anyone receiving a summons for that day is released from jury service until they receive a future summons.

May 7, 2024 - The jury that has been summoned for Monday, May 20, 2024 for the 273rd District Court Honorable James A. Payne, Jr., Judge presiding has been cancelled. All cases have been passed or settled.

Anyone receiving a summons for that day is released from jury service until they receive a future summons.

Jury Summons for March 14; Location Change

March 7, 2022 - The Jurors summoned for Monday, March 14, 2022, should report to the Windham Civic Center at 146 Express Blvd., Center, Texas 75935.

The Civic Center is located across from Whataburger on Hurst Street next to the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton by Hilton. This change is due to the broken elevator at the Courthouse.

All Jurors should report to the Civic Center at 8:30am. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
