October 21, 2025 - Timpson Homecoming is this Friday, October 24, 2025. Parade beginning at 10am - Homecoming Parade on the Square "GO BLACK & GOLD”.
Everyone is invited to participate in the parade. Parade line up will start at 9am in the football parking lot acorss from the school. Parade will end on the square and followed with a pep-rally on the square. Let's show our support for this event! This is a shared event with the school and Timpson Area Chamber of Commerce.

July 11, 2025 - Carnival will be Thursday evening, Friday evening, all day Saturday, and after church Sunday.

Carnival will sell tickets for $1 each or 25 for $20. Majority of rides require 4 to 5 tickets. Wrist bands for Friday afternoon for $25 each and Saturday wrist bands for rides from 11am till 5pm and another $25 from 5pm till closing.

July 3, 2025 - Timpson Frontier Days kick off on Thursday, July 10 with a party in the streets of downtown Timpson at 6pm with D.J. Berio.

March 26, 2025 - Members from the Timpson ISD school board, especially those running for office, were invited to attend a Meet the Candidates event on Tuesday, April 15 6:30pm at Tie and Timber Lodge & Event Center.

The public is invited along with the candidates to discuss city issues. Both the city and school elections have candidates running for office and proposals to consider:

March 7, 2024 - Please come by Friday morning, March 8th at 9am for a dedication and to pray over the thrift store and food bank that God will bless and fulfill our community’s needs. We will also pray that God will provide volunteers and lead them in the way to show kindness and love for all that comes through and needs help from this organization.

October 5, 2023 - Timpson Chamber of Commerce Brings the Circus to Town by Culpepper & Merriweather Circus. C&M Circus is coming to Timpson on Monday, October 16th! Two shows will be performed under a real Circus Big Top located at SoSo Park with Show times at 5pm and 7:30pm. Sponsored by Timpson Chamber of Commerce and Timpson EDC.
