October 12, 2026 - Plans are underway for the 2026 Santa’s Christmas Parade which will be held on Saturday, December 5th beginning at 6pm. The Parade is presented by the HR Group. The theme for this year’s parade is “An All American Christmas.” Silver Sponsors are Farmers State Bank and T&R Steaks and More.
Categories for the 2026 Parade will include: Individuals, Schools, Businesses, Churches and Civic Organizations. Judges will award cash prizes to the top three places in each category. The Float Competition Sponsor is the City of Center. The Sponsor for the Grand Marshal is Dazzle Me Pink and Blue. This year’s Grand Marshals will be Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith, the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Service Award recipients.
Parade float entry registration is free and completed applications must be returned to the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office by Monday, November 20th.
Decorate your pick up truck, golf cart, horse and buggy etc. Join in the holiday festivities and have fun!
The Taste of the Holidays, sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank, will be held on Thursday, December 3rd at the Windham Civic Center from 4:30-7:30pm. There will be delicious food samplings available.
