
February 20, 2026 - The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Shelby County invites community members to join its Jellylicious Creations workshop on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9am to 12 noon at the Shelby County Extension Office, 266 Nacogdoches Street, Center, Texas.
This hands on session will guide participants through the process of making safe, high quality homemade jelly while learning techniques that elevate both flavor and presentation. Whether you’re new to canning or looking to refine your skills, this workshop offers practical instruction you can apply immediately at home.
“Our goal is to empower participants with the confidence and know how to create delicious, beautiful jellies they can enjoy or share,” said Feleshia Thompson, County Extension Agent for Family & Community Health.
Registration is $30 per person and includes all supplies, materials, and two jars of jelly to take home. Space is limited, and advance registration is required by March 2, 2026.
