June 15, 2026 - Delbert Jackson returns to address Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society members and guests Wednesday, June 17, at 2 PM in the Timpson Public Library Annex. This will be a special presentation honoring the courage, service, and legacy of African American Patriots in the American Revolution.
Mr. Jackson is an avid researcher of black history. He is dedicated to documenting, preserving, and sharing his findings. Making his community a better place to live is also important to Mr. Jackson.
TAGHS invites all our friends and neighbors to attend this commemoration of our nation's 250th birthday. Homeschoolers are especially welcome.
TAGHS also seeks new members to help us continue our work so we can continue to present programs. One does not have to be a native of our area to join. In fact, several of our hardest workers did not grow up in this area. We invite you to stop by the Genealogy Room and learn about the resources we offer.
