City of Timpson June 20 Regular Meeting Minutes

July 13, 2017 - A Regular Meeting was held on the 20th day of June, 2017 at the City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Mayor Pro Tem Kyle Allen presiding.  Council Members Tiffany Collins, Yvonne Ramsey, William "Al" Skinner were all present. Mayor Debra Smith and Councilman Johnson were absent.

1. Call to Order: Mayor Pro Tem Allen at 5:30pm

2. Invocation: Following invocation, the meeting went straight to Item #5.

3. Pledge: United States Pledge, Texas Pledge

Timpson Community Wide Easter Egg Hunt

March 30, 2017 - The Community Wide Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be on April 15, 2017 from 11:30am-1:30pm at SoSo Park. Previously this was an Eastern Star event, however, this year it will be sponsored by the First Baptist Church in Timpson.

Hot dogs will be served at 11:30 followed by the Easter egg hunt. Everyone is encouraged to come out, bring the kids and enjoy the festivities.

If you would like to donate money, candy filled eggs or hot dog supplies, contact Bro. W Dee Daniel at 936-254-2220.
