November 8, 2018 - Emergency personnel were searching for the location of a hunter Wednesday, November 8, 2018 that was reported to have been injured.

The Center Fire Department was dispatched to the scene on CR 1006 (City Lake Road) south of Center at 6:18pm to the Mill Creek Hunting Club.

November 6, 2018 - The Center Police Department (CPD) reports the arrest of an individual following his alleged attempt to flee and apprehension with the assistance of a CPD K9.

October 25, 2018 - A miscalculation of judgment led to a major two-vehicle crash during heavy rain on State Highway 7 (SH 7) East October 16, 2018, which held up traffic for an extended period of time and resulted in the death of livestock at the scene.

October 24, 2018 - The Center Police Department has reported of a recent arrest of a Center man on alleged sex related charges and the recovery of narcotics.

October 19, 2018 - (Album) - A classic car show was held during the 42nd Annual East Texas Poultry Festival on October 6, 2018. Several entries were included, and the competition was held in the AgriLife Extension parking lot.
