January 17, 2025 - Christina Smith, Center Middle School Band Director, was recognized January 15, 2025, at the National Board Certified Teacher Luncheon and Pinning Ceremony. This achievement recognizes her dedication, hard work, and profound impact on her students and the school community.

January 9, 2025 - Center ISD will have a two hour delayed start to school tomorrow, Friday January 10, 2025.

December 18, 2024 - The Center Elementary School Gifts of Hope Project brought holiday cheer to 23 students by providing them with multiple Christmas gifts this season.

December 16, 2024 - On Saturday, December 7, members of the National Honor Society volunteered around Center for a "Day of Service." One group helped serve families at the Civic Center for the Child Advocacy Center's annual "Breakfast with Santa" event. Another group helped decorate Focused Care of Center for Christmas and played BINGO with the residents. Two groups collected canned goods and monetary donations at H&S Discount Foods and Brookshire Brothers on behalf of Shelby County Outreach Ministries. They collected more than 150 cans and $223.47.

December 11, 2024 - Last Friday the Lady Roughrider Basketball team honored our past alumni before the varsity game, naming them "The Legends of the Legacy of Lady Riders Basketball."
