Dragons Finish 2nd Overall at State Academic UIL Meet; State Champions in Number Sense

May 20, 2024 - Shelbyville High School Academic UIL students competed at the 2024 Academic UIL State Meet at UT-Austin on May 14th and 15th. Shelbyville is the first runner-up to the 2024 Conference AA UIL State Academic Championship.

May 17, 2024 - The Softball Playoff game that was scheduled for Thursday, May 16 versus Cross Roads has been moved to Friday, May 17th at 2pm at Rusk High School.

Shelbyville Dragon Baseball Regional Quarter Finals

May 14, 2024 - All Shelbyville Dragon Baseball Regional Quarter Finals games will be played at Nacogdoches High School against Gary starting Wednesday, May 15.

Game 1: Wednesday, May 15 at 6pm, SHS Home Team
Game 2: Saturday, May 18 at 12 noon, GHS Home Team
Game 3: If needed, 30 minutes after game 2, GHS Home Team

Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for students. District and Coaches passes accepted.

May 6, 2024 - Shelbyville Dragons will play the Timpson Bears in the Softball Regional Quarterfinals Playoffs starting May 9, 2024. All Games will be at Carthage High School.

May 6, 2024 - Three Shelbyville athletes completed in the State Track Meet in Austin, Texas on May 3rd with two clinching championship spots. They were seniors, Dylan Parker and Emily Pharris, and junior, Kylie Snell.

Shelbyville I.S.D. Accepting Student Transfers

April 26, 2024 - Parents of students living outside the Shelbyville Independent School District who wish their children to attend Shelbyville Schools during the 2024-2025 school year must request transfer no later than June 3, 2024. This applies to both old and new transfer students. New transfers who are approved will be required to pay tuition to attend.
