March 27, 2024 - On Monday, March 18th, the Shelbyville Dragon Band participated in UIL Concert and Sight-Reading contest. This contest is comprised of a stage performance as well as a sight reading evaluation. The Shelbyville Dragon received a first division rating from all six judges at the contest. This rating indicates a superior rating and is the highest possible outcome available.

Congratulations to the Shelbyville High School Dragons for Winning the Region 3 Basketball Championship!

March 4, 2024 - With the Regional Championship secured, the Dragons have advanced to the UIL Conference 2A Boys’ Basketball State Tournament to be held in San Antonio at the Alamodome. The Dragons’ semi-final contest against Thrall High School will be at 10am on Friday, March 8th. A win will advance the Dragons to the State Championship Game on Saturday, March 9th, at 1pm.

February 21, 2024 - The Dragons Boys Basketball team defeated Chireno in the AA Region 3 & 4 Bi-District Playoff round and will play in the Area Playoffs, Thursday, February 22nd in Tenaha versus Douglass at 7pm. Admission is $5 Adults and $3 Students. District and coaches passes accepted.
