James Antioch Community Meeting

May 8, 2024 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 5:30pm.

They meet at the James Antioch Community building just off Hwy 7 near the James Store.

If you are interested just bring your special food and join them for an evening of neighbourly visiting and keep our community friendly and connected.

The group hopes to see you there.

James-Antioch Community April Meeting

April 17, 2024 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 5:30pm in the evening. Meetings are held in the James Antioch Community building and everyone looks forward to what each one brings for the evening meal.

There will be a short business meeting before the meal. The group hopes to see you there and to have a chance to visit with you.

WoodmenLife Chapter 250 to Meet Feb. 19 at Pizzeria

February 18, 2024 - WoodmenLife Lodge 250 has a change of meeting place for Monday, February 19, 2024. We will be meeting at The Pizzeria and not at the Extension Office meeting room. Time is the same - 6pm. Please meet with us at The Pizzeria! This will be for our Officer Installation.

James Antioch Community February Meeting

February 9, 2024 - The James Antioch Community monthly meeting will be Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 5:30 PM in the James Antioch Community Building. Bring a dish of your favorite food and be prepared to share a little of your news. We will be having a short business meeting and continue to keep our building in good repair. Hope to see you that evening.

Shelby County XYZ Homemakers to Meet Feb. 15

February 9, 2024 - The Shelby County XYZ Homemakers group will have their monthly meeting on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 12:30pm. We meet in the meeting room of the Shelby County Extension office. This month we have guest speakers and a visit from George and Martha Washington. If you are interested please let us know that you plan to come.

James Antioch Community Cancels January Meeting

January 19, 2024 - The James Antioch Community will not have their Carry-in-meal on Saturday, January 20, 2024 due to weather conditions.

January 5, 2024 - The James Antioch Community will have their monthly meeting on Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 5:30pm in the James Antioch Community Building. We will have the report on our fundraiser and any other business brought to the floor. Everyone will bring a covered dish and be prepared for a time of fellowship.

WoodmenLife Lodge 250 Officer Meeting Cancelation

January 12, 2024 - Due to possible bad weather the WoodmanLife Lodge 250 will not have a meeting on Monday Jan. 15, 2024. We will have the officer installation in February.

Chris Green, our WoodmenLIfe representative, and Angela Lawson, president recommend this change in schedule. Hope to see you next month.

XYZ Extension Education Club to Meet Jan. 18

January 5, 2024 - The XYZ Extension Education club of Shelby County will have their monthly meeting in the meeting room of the Shelby County Extension Office on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 12:30pm. Ellen Manning will give the lesson and we will work on plans for the spring District Meeting to be in Shelby County in March. We welcome anyone who would like to become a member.

James Antioch Community Christmas Gathering Set for Dec. 16

December 5, 2023 - The James Antioch Community will have their Christmas gathering on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at 5:30 pm in the James Antioch Community Building. We will be drawing for the 3 quilts from the tickets sold for those quilts. We will have a gift exchange among members present. Be sure to bring a gift if you want to participate. Food will be provided. Come and enjoy being together.

WoodmenLife Lodge 250 Christmas Celebration

December 4, 2023 - WoodmenLife Lodge 250 will have their regular meeting on Monday, December 18, 2023 at 6pm. We will meet in the Shelby County Ag Extension meeting room. Food will be provided. Members need to come prepared for our Christmas celebration.
