September 25, 2020 - Dear Parent/Guardian and Staff:

In keeping with Joaquin ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all student families and staff members that two Joaquin ISD employees were lab-confirmed to have COVID-19. One of the employees was last on campus September 17, 2020 and tested positive September 23, 2020. The other employee was last on campus September 23, 2020 and tested positive September 24, 2020. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the names of the individuals or details that may identify him or her.

The Joaquin Rams Junior Varsity Girls and Varsity Girls will start their basketball season October 1st with a scrimmage against Alto in Alto. Junior Varsity Boys and Varsity Boys will have their first game against Hemphill in Hemphill December 1.

September 23, 2020 - 1 The Joaquin ISD School Board met tonight in regular session at 6pm in the Joaquin Boardroom with the following members present: Chrisco Bragg, Jacob Kay, Thomas Harvey, Brandon Neal, Jeff Hamilton, Ronnie Belrose, and Jeff Cater

Board members absent: Guest(s) Present: Todd Hovey, Chris Patton, Jeff Bresee, Tracy LeBlanc Joaquin ISD Employee(s) Present: Ryan Fuller, Superintendent; Joel Bumback, Director of Finance; Wade Lawson, Boys Athletic Director

Chrisco Bragg, President, called the meeting to order at 6:07pm.

September 15, 2020 - The Joaquin 7th/8th grade football team will play a game vs. Henderson on September 24th at 5pm. This game will be played at Henderson Stadium, 700 Lion Street, Henderson, TX 75654. This game replaces the originally scheduled game vs.Logansport for that date.

August 30, 2020 - Joaquin ISD will resume classes tomorrow, August 31st, at the normal starting time which is 7:55 a.m. for students. We are looking forward to another great week with students back on campus. Go Rams!
