April 26, 2019 - Tickets go on sale Monday, April 29th for the 2019 Athletic Banquet presented by Center Athletic Booster Club and Roughrider Athletics on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 6pm at the Windham Civic Center.
Tickets sales run from April 19th until Friday, May 10th and are available at the Center ISD Administration office or the Center HS office from 7:30 to 4pm.
Tickets cost $10 each and children ages 5 and under are free. High School athletes are free.
April 26, 2019 - The Center High School Chapter of the National Honor Society will hold their new member induction ceremony on Tuesday, April 30th at 5 p.m. in the CHS cafeteria.
Family and friends are invited to attend. Light refreshments will be served from 6-6:30 in the library following the NHS ceremony.
April 26, 2019 - Alec Dykes attended the regional golf tournament yesterday, April 26th. He tied for 22nd out of 83 total golfers. He did not qualify for the state tournament but competed well on a tough course. Alec shot an 88 in the first round while playing through tough rainy conditions, Alec’s improved by 3 strokes on his second round shooting an 85. Alec played hard and represented his school and district very well.

Baseball
Center versus Rusk Bi-District Playoffs are Thursday, May 2nd at Rusk HS 7pm and Friday, May 3rd at center HS 7pm. Saturday game, if needed, will be at Rusk HS at 2pm. Ticket prices are $5 Adults, $3 students and $2 seniors. All passes will be taken.

The following girls qualified for the Region III 4A meet at Sam Houston State University on Friday and Saturday:

April 17, 2019 - Center Middle School JCC, Beta, and 'My sister, Myself' will collect items to benefit victims of the Alto tornados through the end of school on Wednesday, April 17th. Alto, Texas was devastated by tornados over the weekend and is in need of several items.
April 15, 2019 - Sophomore Kristen Orsak's original play, 'The Void,' will be presented for a second night by CHS Theatre's 3rd period Advanced Players tonight (Monday) at 6:30.
Miss Orsak tells the story of Brooke, a teenager suffering from depression and her friends and family who aren't sure how to help her. The script has been workshopped by her peers since the fall and is ready for its "international premiere."
