April 8, 2026 - Laura Crawford, the founder and CEO of Be a Light Rehabilitation Services and Be a Light House of Hope in Timpson, will be speaking at the Timpson Area Genealogy and Heritage Society meeting on Wednesday, April 15 at 2pm.
The event will take place at the Timpson Public Library annex located at the corner of Bremond and Austin streets. Laura recently acquired a building that was originally a nursing home built by Albert and Inez Ingram in the 1960s. She is currently in the process of furnishing the building to provide shelter and support for women transitioning out of substance abuse rehabilitation, along with their children, until the women are able to secure employment and become self-sufficient.
We invite you to join TAGHS as Laura discusses the establishment of Be a Light Rehabilitation Services and shares her vision for the Timpson facility. This initiative will offer a valuable service to our community. Come meet Laura and discover how our town can contribute to supporting her mission.
