May 22, 2026 - Dear Center High School Families and Community, Due to worsening weather conditions and the forecast now showing a 90%+ chance of rain and thunderstorms, tonight’s graduation ceremony will be moved to the Coliseum.
We exhausted every effort to hold the ceremony at the stadium, but unfortunately the weather is not expected to cooperate. Our priority is ensuring a safe and enjoyable celebration for our graduates and guests.
The Coliseum will open at 5pm, and the graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 6pm. All graduates should report to the school at 4:30pm.
Parking will be available:
- In front of the Coliseum
- In the cafeteria parking lot (with entry through the main hallway to the Coliseum)
- Behind the high school (can enter through the middle/200 hallway adjacent to WalMart)
- At FLM and the elementary school
Shuttle buses will be provided from the FLM and elementary parking locations. Each graduate is allowed 8 guest tickets. Tickets can be accessed at https://centerisd.hometownticketing.com/admin/events/view/189. You will be asked for a passcode, which is the student ID number for your graduate.
We are also including a QR code to help make the process easier for families and guests.
We are still hopeful that we may be able to have fireworks following the ceremony if there is a break in the weather. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding as we work to make this a special and memorable night for our seniors.

Center High School Graduation is scheduled for tonight (Friday, May 22nd) at Roughrider Stadium. After closely monitoring the weather forecast, there is now a high probability of rain and thunderstorms. To provide the safest environment possible and avoid possible disruptions to the ceremony, we are moving the graduation ceremony start time to 6:00 PM.
This adjustment will help ensure we can properly celebrate our students and make this a memorable evening for our seniors.
We apologize for any inconvenience this change may cause, but we are committed to providing a great graduation celebration for the Class of 2026.
Gates to the stadium will open at 5:00 PM, and we hope to see everyone there to celebrate our graduates.
