August 18, 2026 - The 50th East Texas Poultry Festival announces the Business Poultry Decorating Contest. The contest gives businesses an opportunity to join the 50th Annual Poultry Festival spirit. All businesses in Shelby County are invited to decorate store fronts and windows in any poultry and decades theme.
Please register at the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce and have the business decorated by Wednesday, September 23rd. Judging will take place the week of September 24 – 30th. There are plywood chickens available to decorate as well. Stop by the Chamber office to pick up a chicken.
The top 3 winners will receive a cash prize and will be announced on the Frances Oates stage under the Big Tent during Poultry Festival.
