December 19, 2023 - The Scrap Happy Quilters completed a truly Christmas style project on Monday, December 18, 2023 by presenting fifty-five lap quilts completed by the club to each resident of Holiday Nursing Home. The residents were presented their quilts individually and visited with the ladies presenting the quilts. Everyone involved had a great time. Several of the Scrap Happy Quilters were not able to attend, however, their presence was felt by each resident because love and dedication to quilting is what made this gift giving opportunity possible.
Scrap Happy Quilters meet on the 1st Saturday of the month at the James Community House. Everyone is welcomed to join in the fun. Merry Christmas from the Scrap Happy Quilters!
