June 7, 2017 - Center Garden Club members Cherry Jones, Carolyn Bounds, Margaret Stockton, Carole Ann Chance and Robbie Kerr attended the proclamation signing of National Garden Week from June 4-10 by Mayor David Chadwick on Tuesday, June 6.

March 10, 2017 - Cherry Jones, Center Garden Club Flower show chairman, gives final instructions for the club's 51st Annual Small Standard Flower "Cultivating Joy" which will be Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Center Community House, 423 San Augustine Street from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. 

September 16, 2016 - Center Garden Club members met September 14, 2016, at the Community House for a salad luncheon.  Plans were made for the coming year which included projects, committees, the district and state calendar of events, and the District III Convention which the Center Club will host.  Members exchanged pass-along plants and gave horticultural information on each plant.
