Center Garden Club Awards Yard of the Month

August 23, 2016 - The "Center Garden Club" presents Lois Chandler from Center with "Yard of the Month" for August 2016. She loves her gardens and has planted many Lantanas. These perennials grow vigorously most of the year.

Center Garden Club Has May Meeting; Introduces Scholarship Winner Castaneda

May 18, 2016 - Center Garden Club members met May 11 for a salad luncheon at the home of Alison Scull. The Flower Show results were discussed and final plans were made for the Southern Zone Summer Workshop which the club will host on June 8 at the Community House. Scholarship winner Gabriela Castaneda was introduced. Gabriela, who is a senior at Center High School, was awarded $1000 for her studies at Sam Houston State University.

Center Garden Club Wins Top Honors at Texas Garden Clubs Convention

March 18, 2016 - Center Garden Club took top honors at the District III - Texas Garden Clubs Spring Convention by winning 31 awards.

With the theme "Follow the Monarchs through Paris," 67 members represented 25 District III Texas Garden Clubs for the March 16-17 event at the Country Club in Paris, Texas.
