August 10, 2023 - A large group of ambassadors and friends attended Christian Love Private Home Care’s new chamber member ribbon cutting inside the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce office on Thursday, August 3rd to celebrate.

August 9, 2023 - The Deep East Texas Cooperative family bid farewell to Gordon Welch on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Welch, a lineman for nearly 45 years with DETEC, passed away July 31, 2023. He worked as Lead Area Service Technician – First Class Lineman.
