Center Fire Department personnel were quick to respond to the scene where they diverted traffic and helped assess the emergency needs of those involved.
January 11, 2021 - A structure where the Center Police Department parks patrol vehicles collapsed today and damaged several automobiles parked underneath. A large amount of snow appeared to still be on the roof when it collapsed.

December 20, 2020 - State Highway 7 (SH7) east of Center was the scene of a single-vehicle crash Saturday, December 19, 2020 stemming from distracted driving.
When first responders arrived at the location, the vehicle involved was on it's side blocking one lane of traffic.
