At 7:14am CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Stonewall to near Tenaha to near Garrison. Movement was east southeast at 35 mph.
Strong winds between 40 and 50 mph will be possible with these storms.

In northwest Louisiana: Bienville, Claiborne, De Soto, Natchitoches, Red River, Sabine, Webster in Texas this watch includes 6 counties.
In northeast Texas: Angelina, Nacogdoches, Panola, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby.

At 11:36pm CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Deberry to 12 miles east of Carthage to near Joaquin to 7 miles west of Neuville to 6 miles north of Lufkin, moving east at 35 mph.

At 5:25pm CDT, a significant weather advisory for west central DeSoto Parish, southeastern Panola and north central Shelby Counties until 6:15pm.
Do not drive vehicles through flooded waterways. Use caution when walking near flooded riverbanks. Do not try to wade or swim in flooded rivers and bayous.
