October 30, 2015 - A flash flood watch is now in effect from 10pm this evening through 10am Saturday morning for central East Texas.
The flash flood watch includes the following counties: Angelina, Nacogdoches, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Panola, Rusk, and Smith Counties.

October 15, 2015 - A cold front will move across the area early Friday bringing gusty northerly winds and reinforcing the dry air mass already in place. The combination of afternoon minimum relative humidity values below 30%, wind speeds gusting up to 20MPH, and dry vegetation will lead to high fire danger area wide. Wind speeds should diminish during the weekend; but, a lack of rainfall will keep dry fuels and low values in place through the weekend.
August 10, 2015 - Heat Advisory now in effect until 7pm Tuesday. Heat index values will be between 105 and 110 degrees from late morning into the early evening hours today and again on Tuesday. Oppressive heat will continue through Monday for the Four state area and far parts of East Texas and North Louisiana into Tuesday. Hot temperatures and high humidity values will combine to create a dangerous situation to people, pets, and animals.
August 7, 2015 - The heat advisory is in effect through 7pm Sunday, August 9th.
A building heat wave will result in area heat index values between 105 and 110 degrees from late morning into the early evening hours Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The heat will extend into the new work week as well.
The dangerous heat indices will create an situation that could harm people, pets, and animals outside. Heat illness will be possible for those unprepared to beat the heat.
August 6, 2015 - UPDATED: A heat advisory is in effect from 1pm Thursday through 7pm Friday.
A building heat wave along with high humidity will combine to produce heat index values between 105 to 109 degrees across the four state area Thursday and Friday afternoons.
