January 8, 2018 - Panola College is proud to announce the names of those students named to the President’s List for the fall 2017 semester. To qualify a student must complete a minimum of 12 semester hours with a grade point average between 3.8 and 4.0. Only courses applying toward an associate degree or certificate are included in the computation.

January 6, 2017 - Port Arthur, Texas – The Panola College men’s basketball team traveled to Port Arthur, Texas Friday night and defeated Lamar State College Port Arthur, 79-74. The victory raises Panola’s record to 9-5 and 2-2 in Region 14 play. “There are no easy games in this league and it’s extremely hard to win on the road. Our guys responded, battled and found a way to win.” Head Coach Grant McMillan stated. “I think a lot of the early season adversity helped us win the ball game.” He added.

January 2, 2018 - The Panola College men's basketball team resumes play after holiday break tomorrow evening, Wednesday, January 3 against Central Baptist JV. Tip-off has been changed to 5:30pm after a travel conflict for the visitor. The game will take place at AJ gym on the campus of Panola College.

Panola holds a 7-5 record after their first semester of play after defeated Coastal Bend in the last game of the first semester.

January 2, 2018 - Panola College/Shelby College Center is offering Zumba ®Gold. This class takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of the older participant. The class will meet Monday and Wednesday: January 8 – February 14, from 4:00 – 5:00 pm, at the Shelby College Center. The cost of the class is $45, and pre-registration is required.
