Chamber of Commerce Seeks Award Nominations

December 27, 2023 - The 101st Annual Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Celebration & Awards, presented by Farmers State Bank, will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024. We will celebrate and recognize the achievements of 2023 and welcome a new year.

The highlight of the Celebration is our Awards presentations the Farm Family of the Year award, Young Citizen of the Year award and the Distinguished Service Award.

1885 Historic Courthouse Christmas Open House to Feature Excelsior Choir

December 8, 2023 - The public is invited to attend the 1885 Historic Courthouse Christmas Open House on Wednesday, December 13th. The Historic Courthouse will be open from 12 noon until 2:00pm for tours and refreshments. The Excelsior ISD Choir will be performing Christmas Carols at 1:00pm in the upstairs Courtroom.

The Historic Courthouse has recently undergone some improvements such as painting and the replacement of light fixtures with more period appropriate fixtures thanks to the support of Shelby County and the Shelby County Historical Commission.

Tickets Still Available for Taste of the Holidays This Thursday

November 27, 2023 - The Taste of the Holidays, Sponsored by Shelby Savings Bank will be this Thursday, November 30th from 4:30-7:30 pm at the Windham Civic Center. It is a great way to kick off a fun holiday weekend and the December count down to Christmas.

Tickets are available for $15.00 person and are available at the Chamber offices until Thursday at noon. Children 5 and under are free.

Come sample cuisine and wine from local restaurants and caterers and enjoy a fun festive evening. 

Outreach Ministries Hosting Ribbon Cutting for Newly Renovated Building, Food Room

November 21, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Staff invite the public to join them at the Shelby County Outreach Ministries for a Ribbon Cutting for their newly renovated building and new client-choice food room.

This event will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023 from 12noon until 1:30. The new food room will allow clients to select food that their families will eat. They would also like everyone to tour the newly renovated building.

AnnLynn Nutrition Hosting New Chamber Member Ribbon Cutting

November 8, 2023 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors invite the public to join them at a New Member Ribbon Cutting for AnnLynn Nutrition on Friday, November 10th at 11:00am.

Brandy Adkison is excited about her new business venture. AnnLynn Nutrition is the perfect place to stop by to jump start your day with an energy tea, ice coffee or for a good healthy meal replacement shake.
