Health and Fitness Fair Postponed until the Fall

March 6, 2020 - The 13th Annual Health and Fitness Fair, Presented by Cline Family Medicine, will be Thursday, March 19th  from 9am until 2:30pm at the Windham Civic Center.

Mobile Mammogram Units sponsored by Trinity Mother Frances and UT Health East Texas will be onsite. To schedule an appointment contact Tera at the AgriLife Extension Offices at 598-7744

Health and Fitness Fair Postponed until the Fall

February 20, 2020 - The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will have a Mobile Unit available at the 13th Annual Health and Fitness Fair on March 19th. To make an appointment to donate blood, contact the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce at 936-598-3682. Walk-ins will be welcome. The Unit will be available from 9am until 1:30pm in front of the Civic Center.

Dazzle Me Pink & Blue to Host Business After Hours

February 11, 2020 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Tiffanne Klein, owner of Dazzle Me Pink & Blue and her friendly staff, will welcome Chamber members to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, February 11th, from 5pm until 6:30pm. It will be a fun pink and Valentine event.

Dazzle Me Pink & Blue will showcase the beautiful collection of children’s clothes and accessories, while at the same time Chamber members will have an opportunity to network with each other in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Smoke House Ribbon Cutting Set for Jan. 10th

January 10, 2020 - Please join the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Owner Kenneth Walker, Sr. at the Smoke House New Member Ribbon Cutting on Friday, January 10, 2020 at 10:00am. The Smoke House is located at 1475 Loop 500 E across the road from Lakeside Assisted Living Center. The public is invited to attend to celebrate.

Make sure you come out, meet Kenneth Walker, Sr. and try some of the delicious barbeque.

Santa's Christmas Parade This Saturday, Christmas at the RIO

Santa's Christmas Parade Presented by Shelby Savings Bank

December 2, 2019 - Santa Claus is coming to town this Saturday, December 7th.

In keeping with the holiday tradition, the Grand Marshal will lead the parade at 6:00pm.  Fannie Watson, the 2019 Distinguished Service Award recipient is this year’s Grand Marshal. Over 20 floats will make their way through the heart of downtown to delight the young and old alike.

Santa’s Christmas Parade Presented by Shelby Savings Bank

November 27, 2019 - The 2019 Santa’s Christmas Parade “Songs of the Season” is Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 6:00pm on the Center Downtown Square.

Categories for the 2019 Parade will include: Individuals, Schools, Businesses, Churches and Civic Organizations. Judges will award cash prizes to the top three places in each category. The Float Competition Sponsor is the City of Center.
