October 21, 2019 - The Business After Hours at Hissy Fit scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, has been postponed. A future date in December will be announced.

October 16, 2019 - The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors along with Susan and Kathryn King, owners of Hissy Fit, will welcome Chamber members and the public to a Business After Hours event on Tuesday, October 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 206 Nacogdoches Street.

October 1, 2019 - Congratulations to the 2019 East Texas Poultry Festival Queen’s Court. Kristen Orsak was crowned the 2019 East Texas Poultry Festival Queen at the coronation held Saturday, September 28th. First runner-up was Princess Tatum Mettauer and Second runner-up Princess Kaitlin Williams.

September 27, 2019 - The Rooster Breakfast, Sponsored by East Texas Poultry Supply, is a new fun addition to the Saturday morning activities Poultry Festival weekend.

Saturday morning, October 5th at 8am at Raymond Motors, the Center High School Culinary Arts students will be serving breakfast. This will be perfect for the 5K runners following the race as well as all spectators, Broiler Show participants and the early birds getting ready for the car show.
