City of Tenaha Rescinds Boil Water Notice

September 24, 2025 - On September 22, 2025 the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Tenaha public water system, PWS # 2100002, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Tenaha to Submit CDBG Application for Downtown Revitalization

September 23, 2025 - Tenaha, Texas is giving notice of the City's intent to submit Texas Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program grant application for a Downtown Revitalization grant request of $1,000,000 for street reconstruction on Wall Street and installation of ADA-compliant ramps, leveling of sidewalks, installation of curb cuts, and installation of lighting, signage and benches on Wall Street, N. Center Street and Main Street in Tenaha, Texas.

The application is available for review at City Hall during regular business hours.
