City of Tenaha Rescinds Boil Water Notice

June 27, 2025 - Boil Water Notice Rescinded

On June 18, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of Tenaha public water system, PWS ID NO. 2100002, to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

City of Tenaha to Hold Public Hearing, Seeks CDBG for Downtown Revitalization Program

March 18, 2025 - In accordance with Texas Administrative Code, Title 4, Part 1, Section 30.7 City of Tenaha will hold a public hearing at 5:01p.m. on March 21, 2025, at City Hall, 238 N George Bowers Drive, Tenaha, Texas regarding the submission of an application to the Texas Department of Agriculture for one or more Texas Community Development Block Grant Program (TxCDBG) grants for Program Year 2025.

City of Tenaha Notice of Public Meeting for Agreement with Law Firm for Collections

March 17, 2025 - Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Tenaha City Council will be held on Monday, March 24, 2025 at 5:30pm at Tenaha City Hall for the purpose of considering and taking action on all matters on the agenda for the meeting, including approval of an agreement with the law firm of Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP as special counsel to perform all legal services necessary to collect unpaid fines, fees and court costs as provided in Texas Code of Criminal Procedure Article 103.0031 and authorizing the execution of such agreement.
