May 23, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries is urgently seeking donations of fresh produce from local farmers to sustain its Senior Citizen Feeding Programs. These programs are facing significant challenges due to government cutbacks.

Shelby County Outreach Ministries' Senior Nutrition Site, located at 124 Haley Drive, is accepting donations of fresh produce, canned foods, and monetary donations.

April 25, 2025 - Today is the day! East Texas Giving Day is happening right now, and Shelby County Outreach Ministries, Inc. is participating. This 18-hour online giving event provides a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together and support the vital work of local nonprofits.

April 15, 2025 - Pleasant Grove MBC will hold a Drive-Thru Prayer event on May 3, 2025, at the NAPA Auto Parts parking lot in Center, Texas from 11am-1pm. This event is open to all community members seeking prayer, support, or simply a moment of reflection. Church members will be available to offer individual prayers for those who drive through.  The power of prayer is real, and if you are burdened or just need some prayer, you are welcome to drive by and see us!

February 10, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach ministries announces that Chambliss Real Estate will be hosting a food drive today, February 10, for Shelby County Outreach Ministries! Food drive will be at Brookshire Brothers in Center from 11-1 to help feed the hungry in Shelby County.  

Shelby County Outreach Ministries is seeing more and more clients in need of food. Any donation will be used to help those in need. Together, we can fight hunger. Together, we can change lives.  

January 13, 2025 - Shelby County Outreach Ministries will hold its quarterly Board Meeting on Monday, January 27, 2025.

It will begin at 5:30 at the Helping Hands Outreach Center building.
