Library Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

November 17, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will be closed November 21st - 25th for the Thanksgiving holiday. We will re-open Tuesday, November 28th at 10:00 a.m.

Don't forget the Christmas Puppet Show on Saturday, December 2nd, at 11:00 a.m. Cassey and I would like to wish everyone a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library Beneficiary of $5,000 Grant

November 6, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library is pleased to announce it has received a $5,000 grant from the Tocker Foundation of Austin, Texas. These funds will support the Graphic Advancements for All Ages program

This grant from the Tocker Foundation will help us, through the addition of graphic novels to our library shelves, to reach reluctant readers and people with learning disabilities (as well as those who simply see the world a little differently than the majority) and make our library, as well as our community, a better place.

Tuesday, November 7th, 4:00 to 5:30 pm - LEGO Club (all ages)
Thursday, November 9th, 10:30 am - Preschool Story Time
Thursday, November 9th, 2:00 to 3:00 pm - Color Me Calm (adult coloring)
Friday, November 10th, 2:00 to 4:00 pm - Crafternoon (adult) If you love doing crafts, bring whatever you are working on and join us.

Library Fall Book Sale Ongoing

October 25, 2017 - The Library Fall Book Sale began Tuesday morning at 10am. Despite the cool temperature, people were waiting at the front door for the sale to begin. Our Friends of the Library group has worked hard getting everything ready for the sale.

Crafternoon: Friday Oct 6th, 2-4pm

If you enjoy doing crafts but would like to do them with others that also do crafts, come join our Crafternoon group. Bring a craft or project (no paint, please) you are working on and enjoy the fun and fellowship!

September 5, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library will have our first Library Lego Club meet on Wednesday, Sept. 6th, at 4-5pm. This will be for all ages, but children ages 6 years and younger must have an adult in attendance. Lego bricks will be provided by the Library. No need to bring anything but your ideas!

Library Final Summer Reading Event to Be Magical

July 11, 2017 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library's last Summer Reading Event will be an awesome magician, Julian Franklin. He will do magic tricks, puppets, simple inventions, and science. The program will be Tuesday, July 11th, at 10:30am and will be for both age groups.
