January 21, 2019 - The annual MLK Day Celebration will be Monday, January 21st. There will be a parade beginning at 4pm on the downtown Center Square. Participants will start lining up at 3:30pm. The participants will exit the center of the square in front of the adult probation department and make a 1/4 circle around the square and turn right onto Shelbyville Street. Will proceed down Shelbyville Street and turn right on Martin Luther King Drive and proceed all the way to the Mt. Zion C.M.E. Church where there will be a program.

December 18, 2018 - Mt. Zion Christmas Musical will be held on Sunday, December 23rd at 3pm. 

Please join us as we celebrate the birth of the Messiah in song and dance. Luke 2:1-20

Friday the 21st - Homecoming Game with Court Festivities starting at 7pm. Will have reserved section for Class.
Saturday the 22nd - Homecoming Parade. Meet at 3:30 at Farmers State Drive Thru for Parade. Don’t forget to bring plenty of candy.
Saturday the 22nd - Reunion at 7pm hosted by Will & Kelly Lucas at 4416 CR 1011, Center, TX. $15 per person! Classmate Snoopy T is our DJ! 

July 6, 2018 - Mt. Zion C.M.E. will be honoring their pastor Rev. Elgena Weaver with her 2nd Appreciation Service on Sunday, July 8, 2018, at 3p.m. The special guest will be Rev. Jimmy E. Chapman, pastor of House of Prayer, Silsbee, TX.
